7 Days to Die Launch Brief
Survival games are good at creating long stories, but they can also demand the kind of schedule most adults no longer have. The Survivors Enclave's new Night Shift server starts from a different premise: a player who arrives after work on Friday should be able to accomplish something meaningful before Sunday night.
Loot runs return more useful material and experience arrives faster, so a missed weekday does not become a permanent disadvantage.
Zombies walk in every phase, including nights and blood moons. The pressure comes from numbers, endurance, and bad decisions—not sprint speed.
A 14-day blood-moon interval gives a nights-and-weekends group time to scout, build, and recover between major attacks.
Maximum pace without breaking cross-play
Night Shift uses 200% loot abundance and 300% experience, with faster crafting, larger stacks, stronger harvest yields, and generous quest progression. Those gains are deliberate: the server removes dead time while leaving the survival decisions intact. You still need food, ammunition, transport, defenses, and a plan for the horde.
Romero rules
Every zombie movement profile is set to walking. Feral zombies and blood-moon hordes do not become sprinters, zombie rage is disabled, and the dead do not dig toward players. This does not make the world harmless. A walking horde has time to gather, surround a weak position, and punish anyone who mistakes slower movement for lower danger.
West Jicunube Territory
The operation begins on a newly generated 6144-by-6144 world called West Jicunube Territory. Its seed, SENNightShift2026, gives the community a shared landscape with no inherited routes or established bases. The first settlements and landmarks will be ours.
