Survival-Horror Field Brief
Some co-op games make the horde a shooting gallery. Contagion makes the horde a problem of judgment: where the team moves, what it carries, when it commits, and whether everyone is still together when the route closes behind them.
Built-in randomization changes the round, so map knowledge helps without removing uncertainty.
Slow zombies create pressure through space, numbers, and bad decisions instead of sprinting spectacle.
The SEN server is public, password-free, VAC-secured, and sized for a full survivor group.
Why Contagion fits the Enclave
Contagion rewards the habits our community is built around: communicate early, share what matters, keep moving, and do not confuse individual firepower with group survival. Its objective modes ask players to escape, extract civilians, or survive a hunt, while its broad equipment pool keeps each run practical and improvised.
The first operation: Barlowe
The server opens on the Escape map Barlowe. Up to eight players can join without a password using a normal current Steam installation. The live server is publicly visible as Survivors Enclave Network and is protected by Valve Anti-Cheat.
Join the operation
Launch directly through Steam from the server page, or enter connect server2.survivorsenclavenetwork.com:27017 in the Contagion developer console.
Open the Contagion operation page for the connection button and current field details. New players can also find Contagion on Steam.
